Baccarat Banque Policies and Strategy

Punto Banco Policies

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, however the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).

A additional card can be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the gambler has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.

- If the gambler holds, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the house stands or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The bigger of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you quit the game so be sure to still have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Wagered on properly baccarat gives fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Method

As with all games Baccarat has a few familiar myths. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future events. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most established and definitely the most acknowledged plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is deployed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one chip. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the game table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the table, remove four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd wager. If you come away with a win on the third round, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the 1st three with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can lose the second wager five instances for every successful streak of 4 bets and in the end, experience no loss.
