Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules and Plan
Baccarat Policies
Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the 1st digit is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (five plus six = eleven; drop the first ‘one’).
A third card might be dealt depending on the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank has a score of 8 or nine, the two players hold.
- If the gambler has less than five, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.
- If the gambler stands, the house takes a card on five or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the house holds or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The bigger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to have cash left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie usually pay eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)
Gambled on correctly baccarat banque provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy
As with all games Baccarat has a few familiar misconceptions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording past results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.
The most established and probably the most favorable strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This tactic is used to pump up winnings and limit risk.
Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the game table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, deposit 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.
If you do not win on the 1st round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of two. And success on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four bets gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can not win on the 2nd round 5 times for every favorable run of 4 wagers and in the end, are even.
