Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are of their printed value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they just appear as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of seven and 5 gives a total score of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following regulations:

- If the player or banker has a score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Victorious wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have $$$$$ still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie generally pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. Still, odds are significantly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When done correctly, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future results. Keeping track of last outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful method is the 1-three-2-6 technique. This process is deployed to accentuate payout and lowering risk.

commence by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third gamble, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
