Baccarat Codes

Punto banco is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the first number is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus six = 11; ignore the 1st ‘1′).

A third card will be given out based on the following rules:

- If the gambler or house gets a total of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has less than five, he hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on 5 or less. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to see if the banker stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you depart the table so be sure to have cash left just before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie frequently pay eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat offers fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has some common myths. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future events. Tracking previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most accomplished scheme is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is deployed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd wager. Should you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the 4th round.

If you lose on the first round, you take a loss of one. A win on the first round followed by a loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all four wagers gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you will be able to give up the second round 5 times for every favorable run of four rounds and in the end, balance the books.
