Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat chemin de fer is gambled on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the beginning number is ignored. e.g., a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; ignore the initial ‘one’).

A additional card may be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank has a value of eight or 9, the two players stay.

- If the player has 5 or less, she hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stays, the banker takes a card on a total less than five. If the player hits, a guide is used to see if the bank stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The better of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you depart the table so make sure you still have funds left over just before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat chemin de fer gives pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of familiar misunderstandings. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future outcomes. Recording past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and definitely the most favorable course of action is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This plan is used to pump up profits and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting one chip. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third wager. If you win the third bet, deposit 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And wins on the first 3 with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you are able to not win on the second wager 5 instances for every favorable run of four bets and still are even.
