Baccarat Banque Rules and Method
Punto Banco Standards
Punto banco is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the cards, although the first number is ignored. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus six = 11; ditch the first ‘1′).
A 3rd card may be dealt based on the rules below:
- If the player or banker has a score of eight or 9, both players stay.
- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player stands, the banker hits on a value lower than five. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to determine if the house stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you quit the game so ensure you still have money left before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than one in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8:1)
Wagered on properly baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Method
As with all games punto banco has quite a few common false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future actions. Tracking past outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most familiar and almost certainly the most acknowledged method is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is employed to build up earnings and minimizing losses.
Start by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, subtract four so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit 2 to the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th bet.
Should you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with 12, a take of 10. This means you can not win on the 2nd wager 5 instances for every favorable streak of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
