Baccarat Chemin de Fer Codes

Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or house achieves a score of eight or nine, both players hold.

- If the player has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the banker hits on a total lower than five. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to figure out if the banker stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19:20 (even payout less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the table so be sure to have funds left over before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat chemin de fer offers generally good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games punto banco has a few familiar misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Keeping score of previous results at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and definitely the most accomplished course of action is the one-three-two-six method. This technique is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Start by betting one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract four so you have two on the third round. Should you succeed on the third bet, put down two to the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of 2. Success on the initial 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the second bet 5 instances for each favorable streak of four bets and in the end, are even.
