Punto Banco Regulations and Strategy
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards
Baccarat banque is wagered on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of one (five plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘1′).
A 3rd card could be given out using the following rules:
- If the player or bank gets a total of eight or nine, the two players stay.
- If the player has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler holds, the banker takes a card on 5 or less. If the player hits, a table is used to figure out if the house stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (equal money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you leave the table so be sure to still have cash around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pay one to one. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pay eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)
Bet on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games punto banco has quite a few accepted myths. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events yet to happen. Keeping track of past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and likely the most accomplished scheme is the one, three, two, six method. This method is employed to maximize earnings and limit risk.
Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will retain 6 on the game table, take away 4 so you are left with 2 on the third wager. If you succeed on the third round, put down two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.
Should you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of two. Success on the initial two with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the first 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet five instances for each favorable run of 4 wagers and in the end, are even.
